Falling Short

When (not if) we sin and fall short, the first step in returning to right relationship with God is to acknowledge our sin before Him. We are often unwilling to admit our sin to God because we refuse to admit it to ourselves. If we are truly surrendered, it is easier to face the brutal facts. And those who openly admit their sin to God will find forgiveness and relief.

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Acts 3:19 NIV
