The Return

This morning we begin daily prayer (7 AM and 7 PM) for The Return. More information can be found at https://www.acertaintrumpet.com.

Join us throughout this journey. You can email us using the ‘email us’ link in the “Want to Join in The Return?” section of the “Who We Are” page at https://www.acertaintrumpet.com.

We begin with this prayer:

Heavenly Father we come together today to humble ourselves and begin a time of corporate prayer for a return of the people of this nation, and throughout the world; a return to a relationship with You, our sovereign Lord. We ask that this be the beginning of true repentance, true revival, and true restoration of obedience to You, for the salvation of all your people. That we each come to have a secure relationship with Jesus Christ.

Open the eyes and hearts of the people of this land so that they turn to you with humility. It is our petition that all people come to know you as their Savior and Sovereign Lord. Lord, You have given us all that we need.

We are reminded today that You taught us to pray: “.. one of Jesus’s disciples said, “Master, teach us to pray”” [Luke 11:1, MSG].
Your prayer, Lord, is where we begin our journey of the Return:

Our Father in heaven,
Reveal who you are.
Set the world right;
Do what’s best – as above, so below.
Keep us alive with three square meals.
Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others.
Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil.
You’re in charge!

[Matthew 6:9-13 MSG]

Therefore, precious Lord, we remember the words of Paul, “Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God.” [Philippians 4:6, CSB] We pray that you move in the hearts of our people, and that one-by-one each us will humble ourselves and learn to pray and seek Your face, and turn from our sin. We pray that You will hear our prayers. Lord, heal our land. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
