Prayer and Sanctification

Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus……. Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, 23-24

Sanctification from God’s perspective: To be intensely focused on God’s point of view, to secure and to keep all the strength of our body, soul, and spirit for God’s purpose alone. Being made one with Jesus so that the nature that controlled Him will control us. The cost is a deep restriction of all our earthly concerns, and an extensive cultivation of all our godly concerns. #onprayer
