It Is Finished!

The Seven Last Words of Jesus

Jesus’s last words are an exclamation of victory:

“It is finished.” John 19:30

A salvation was made possible, a love shown. His earthly mission was complete. He took our place, offering himself to God as a sacrifice on behalf of humanity, demonstrating both humanity’s brokenness and God’s love. (1)
