Talent, Morality and Character

People are impressed by talent and morality.  God is impressed by character.

Morality is not the same as character. Consider this: Johnny comes home from school and reports to his parents that the other kids were calling Susie fat, but that he did not. His parents were not impressed by Johnny’s morality. Their response was to challenge him: “Why didn’t you tell them to stop?” God (and Johnny’s parents) is (are) impressed by character.

The identified with Christ question: How will I apply this truth in my life today?
