A Purpose and A Plan

Why does God lengthen our days in the land of the living? Is it so we might have time to revel in the pleasures of this vain world?  To chase the butterflies of earthly riches and honor?

It cannot be. Wise masters do not give their servants such tasks as will not pay for the candles they burn in doing them. And truly nothing less than glorifying God and saving our souls can be worth the precious time we spend here.

Put it together. He has given you these many gifts, including time, and he is standing by for an accounting:

  1. What did you do with my son, Jesus Christ?
  2. What did you do with what I gave you?

God has a purpose and a plan for every minute He graces you with. Stay close. Listen intently.
