Sabbath Obedience

Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. Deutronomy 5:12-14 NLT

As Believers, you and I are bondservants of Jesus Christ. Our time is not our own. This minute, this hour, this day, belong to God. This is His story, His Providence. He has graciously given the time to us. He is not interested in our offerings or superficial piousness. He is interested in our obedience.

On this Sabbath, then, the question is how can we use it for His glory?  The answer?  Abide in His word and obey His commands.

Observe the Sabbath as a holy day. You will be blessed.
