Divine Appointments

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Psalm 42:2 NIV

Listen to me  Have you ever considered that you have a divine appointment? That when you get up early for your quiet time of prayer and meditation in God’s Word, Jesus is waiting to meet with you there?

Have you ever thought of going to church or Bible study as a divine appointment? That Jesus is patiently, personally waiting to meet with you there?

The Samaritan woman had no idea that her trip to the well was a divine appointment. But it was. She found Jesus waiting for her there. Later she invited others to “come, see a man who told me everything I ever did” (John 4:29).

What a difference it would make in our attitude of expectancy and in our habit of consistency in our daily devotions if we truly wrapped our hearts around the knowledge that it is a divine appointment.

Jesus longs to meet with you. Don’t keep Him waiting.
