A Selfish Admission

Ok, we admit it. The editors of this blog are selfish. We write the blog for ourselves.

If others get something from it then let it accrue to advancing the Kingdom. But we write it selfishly, as part of our own personal spiritual formation. So if you notice that we sometimes repeat ourselves, it is intentional. It is something important to the season we are walking in. Or to the providence of the moment. Or both. The Truth of God’s Word never returns void, but it sometimes bears repeating.

If you were paying attention you will have noticed that on the first day of this week (Sunday) we segued to the theme of prayer. God loves it when we pray His Word back to Him. In that spirit we offer this prayer today: Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy. Psalms 61:1-3 ESV

Defend the Truth. Life the Faith. Advance the Kingdom.
