When Should You Pray?

Pray all the time. Ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit’s wishes. Plead with him, reminding him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all Christians everywhere.” Ephesians 6:18 TLB

Or, if you prefer, “Keep praying in the Spirit on every occasion, using every kind of prayer and request. Turn to God in worship, praise and thanksgiving, confessing your sins to God and asking him for what you and others need. Allow the Holy Spirit to energize you and guide you as you pray. To do all this, remain alert. Don’t give up, but persevere in prayer with unflagging commitment, keeping in touch with God and praying for all of his people.” Ephesians 6:18 Word Come Alive Paraphrase
