God’s Plan A

One of the most dramatic and miraculous examples of a new beginning in the arc of God’s history is the Flood. God saw that evil had consumed mankind and determined to wipe wickedness from the Earth. One righteous man, Noah, “found favor with God.” And God chose him to help carry out His plan to renew mankind.

After years spent building an enormous ark, God brought forth the Flood.

Then God spoke to Noah, “Come out of the ark, you, your wife, your sons, and your sons’ wives with you. Bring out all the living creatures that are with you – birds, livestock, those that crawl on the ground – and they will spread over the earth and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” Genesis 8:15-17 NASB

Here’s something to think about about. Would you find “Noah-favor” with God when He looks into your heart and life? Could God use you in a plan of renewal? What direction might the Holy Spirit lead you that will enable you to participate in God’s next new beginning?
