Created For A Purpose

I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.” John 17:4 NLT

We were created for the purpose of glorifying God through the Christlike character of our lives and the effectiveness of our service. The Bible says, “You were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:20 NKJV

God isn’t something we add to our life. He is our life! And our life’s work. If we are able to finish God’s work, it won’t be by accident. It will be because we have focused every minute of every day on God’s purpose. That purpose determines the way we manage time, money, priorities, relationships, career, and every other aspect of life.

And how do we discern God’s purpose? We spend time with Him everyday. Everyday.
