Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4 CSB
James reminds us that there is joy in every situation. And that trials strengthen the endurance and maturity of our faith. Don’t see the joy in your present trial? Lean into the Word and to fellowship with God. He is there, waiting.
There is joy even in trials. The key question is ‘what is God trying to do in this situation?’
