Today is Veterans Day. We encourage you to pause, pray, and pay tribute to the countless veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. These courageous men and women have faithfully served their country and fellow brothers and sisters. And in the highest sense of service described in God’s Word.
This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16 CSB
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 KJV
Lord, thank you for freedom that is only possible through the selflessness of veterans. I am grateful for your provision of personal relationships with veterans who have been enormous blessings in my life. Amen.
