With The Fruit Of The Spirit comes faithfulness. Faithfulness leads to a long obedience in the direction of the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Obedience is the what. Faithfulness is the how. You can have obedience without faithfulness. But you can’t have faithfulness without obedience.
Faithfulness is fidelity, loyalty, devotion, trueness, dedication, commitment, allegiance, and love toward God and our fellow man. As God is faithful, let us also be faithful in detail and constancy.
Our prayer on this last day of the year:
Our Father who art in Heaven, thank You for Your grace and faithfulness in 2023. If it is Your Will, we will do thus and such in 2024. Even so, come Lord Jesus. Selah.
