The Seventh Day

The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Mark 2:27 NASB

The Sabbath is a gift from God, created for us.

Our keeping of it is first to bring honor and glory to God, who rested from His work of creation on the seventh day. Secondarily, it provides time for us to focus and advance our walk of sanctification, and to conform to Kingdom rhythm, refreshing and preparing us to work “as unto the Lord” the other six days.

Let us pause to repent and abide in Him. For His glory.
