As a follower of Jesus, it is not enough for us to just feel sorry for something . Our sorry needs to lead us to repentance.
Repentance may include regret or remorse over a past thought or action, but in its fullest sense it represents “a complete change of orientation involving a judgment upon the past and a deliberate redirection for the future.” [Eerdmans Bible Dictionary].
Repentance, then, is a change in both thinking and action.
