There are several iterations of this Law. Here is ours:
The First Law of Holes: If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
The Second Law of Holes: When you stop digging, you are still in a hole. Figure out how to fill the hole as you climb out.
The Third Law of Holes: Don’t dig in someone else’s hole.
