Paul In Rome

So a time was set, and on that day a large number of people came to Paul’s lodging. He explained and testified about the Kingdom of God and tried to persuade them about Jesus from the Scriptures. Using the law of Moses and the books of the prophets, he spoke to them from morning until […]

Continuous Sanctification

“The terrible thing, the almost impossible thing, is to hand over your whole self – all your wishes and precautions – to Christ.” C.S. Lewis Just as a new day brings a Providentially clean slate, so we too must surrender afresh. There are entire areas of our lives that have not yet been brought into […]

Prayer For Our Nation

On this July 4th, as we celebrate our nation’s birthday, we remind our hearts that God is sovereign over all and give thanks to God for where He has placed us in this world. Many of our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are not as free. Many of them worship under cover […]

Unrestrained Surrender

Live in unrestrained surrender to Jesus Christ. Go into the world reproducing the echo of Christ’s “Come.” And never try to make your experience a principle for others, but allow God to be as creative and original with others as He is with you.

Spiritual Growth

Never let God show you a truth that you don’t immediately begin to live up to.

It’s A New Day

Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done. C. S. Lewis (1898-1963) God’s Word puts it this way: “This is the day which the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 GNV [Adapted] And, “Through the Lord’s mercies we […]

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, […]

The Miracle of Obedience

Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say. Luke 5:5 If your common sense were enough to successfully follow God, there would be no reason for His Spirit to indwell you or His Word to inform you. But it’s not. Recognize that God’s ways are not your […]

Eternal Life, The Revelation

Want to know why I have a sense of urgency? The greater the level of revelation the higher the accountability. Revealed Truth tells us that both the saved and the lost will partake of the Resurrection; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. […]

Squeezed

I want you to know how glad I am that it’s me sitting here in this jail and not you. There’s a lot of suffering to be entered into in this world – the kind of suffering Christ takes on. I welcome the chance to take my share in the church’s part of that suffering. […]
